TAZ Buddy Night is the kickoff of a Buddy Program in which a younger swimmer is paired with an older swimmer for the swim season. The two become friends and create a special bond.

We are looking into having pizzas delivered to the CSD for this event and more info will be announced as soon as details have been worked out. Younger buddies bring dessert. The Buddy Night picnic will begin at 6:00, in the CSD pool area. Be sure to bring a blanket/chairs.

The Buddy program should continue throughout the swim season. It doesn’t take much to say hello, give a high five, maybe write a note or two, but the result to the recipient will be memories for them forever!

This program also ensures it is not just “mom” or “dad” cheering them on. The TAZ Buddy creates an inferno of enthusiasm and brings kids of all ages out to support teammates of all ages during all races!

Being a buddy is a great experience for both buddies. Take the time to get to know your buddy, leave notes of encouragement in their family folders, cheer them on during races, and just be there for them! Both the older and the younger buddies enjoy the special friendship that is formed during a season!
